Top 3 Uses for Dubsado Scheduler Groups

Have you had a chance to get your schedulers set up in Dubsado? I tell you what, having a scheduler in place is a life saver! Get rid of all of the back and forth emails to find a time that works for both of you. That alone is a huge time saver… but an additional perk to using a scheduler is that it gets your meetings on your calendar for you, no need to have to remember to take the time to go in and add it. Oh, and let’s not forget that it sends reminders for you too! Say goodbye to missed appointments! 😉

So, I’m not here today to tell you all about how to set up the scheduler (that’s for one of my training videos) BUT I am here to tell you about Scheduler Groups, which is a feature that most people don’t think about (or even realize it’s there) in Dubsado. What is a Scheduler Group you ask? Well, essentially it’s a link that displays multiple Schedulers (which will need to already be set up individually) on one page. Now, there are so many ways you can use a Scheduler Group since you have the freedom to choose from any of your Scheduler Templates. However, I’m going to give you my top 3 Best Ways of using Scheduler Groups in Dubsado.

First solution, your Book Now Button on Social.

You may find that you are only be able to have 1 Book Now button on Social Media, which limits you to choose what type of appointment you will offer. Maybe you want to offer Potential Clients and Existing Clients the ability to schedule… Or maybe you want to offer a paid Strategy Session in addition to those types of appointments. By using the Scheduler Group Template, you can create a Group of Appointments that are available for scheduling via 1 link which can be added to that Book Now button on Social Media. Problem solved!

Next tip…

So, some of my clients like to offer Potential Clients the option of a Virtual, In Person or Phone Meeting. When using just one Scheduler Template, this can get confusing for clients when they’re receiving the confirmation and reminders that list all of the ways to connect. To avoid that, create a Scheduler Group Template for that. For example, we would have 3 Schedulers: Virtual Consultation, In Person Consultation and Phone Consultation. Then you create a Scheduler Group Template to include all 3 Schedulers, name it something like Consultations. Now you’ve got a page that your Potential Client can choose which type of appointment they prefer. Oh, so cool, right!?

Finally, my third top way of using the Scheduler Group feature in Dubsado is when it comes to Paid Sessions.

Oh, yeah, did you know you can include an invoice with a Scheduler? It’s pretty handy! (but that’s another lesson)…. So, let’s say you offer a variety of types of Paid Appointments, meaning they pay when they book it. You might offer these sessions on different types of services and each session might need a different Questionnaire attached to it (yep, you can attach a questionnaire to a Scheduler Template too). That is when you create the Scheduler Templates for each individual type of Paid Session, and then you create a Scheduler Group Template which will offer all of those Sessions. Perfection!

Like I said, there are a variety of ways to use the Scheduler Group Templates. It’s really all about what way will work best for you.
